the Carpenters《close to you》

1969年成立的由卡伦卡彭特和哥哥理查德卡彭特组成的Carpenters（木匠）兄妹乐队，
在当时金属与迷幻、朋友与毒品泛滥的70年代，
犹如一股纯净的清风吹抚着人们的心灵。
当时的美国，人们经历着史上最大一次代沟问题。
卡朋特用《close to you》搭起了两代人之间的桥梁，
歌声里跃动着他们热爱生命的心。

这首当年的成名曲是经典之一了，无比怀念永远经典的卡朋特兄妹——怀念那首超级经典的《Yesterday Once More》，怀念那首俏皮的《Please Mr. Postman》，还有那首好听的《超级明星》。
在卡伦卡朋特那无与伦比的铜嗓子演唱下，很多歌都被演绎的那么完美，正如约翰·贝迪斯所说：“她为我们的心灵而歌。太快了，我们的凯伦还那么年轻，但她的歌声仍在回响…”

代沟问题一直是社会的主要问题。歌曲能在那么早的时间就开创这么一个沟通的渠道，很厉害。
